Welcome to Keighley Angling Club Website
Here you can find out where to fish our waters , what you can hope to catch there and also where to purchase your tickets. Hopefully in time you will be able to send in pictures of your catches to include on our gallery. We are also hoping that a lively forum may be possible where members can share tips and ideas with one another to enhance there time spent on the great fishing KAC has to offer.
If your a keen match angler or simply wanting to become involved in this aspect of the club then the website is a place to find out when and where matches are to be held. Our match secretary Steve Parker is always more than happy to help and encourage anyone who wishes to become involved and his number can be found on the events page.
All the club rules are here for day ticket anglers as well as full members.
Further news of events such as Work Parties , stockings (including the rolling barbel programme ) will be posted and we will hopefully keep our members up to date with intersesting developments. AGM dates etc are also to be found and members are encouraged to attend.
The Website is a new venture for the club so please bare with us through our early days but we are sure it wil be a benefit to all.

River Aire Match Results 13/12/09
The winner was Steve Newns with 6 grayling for 4lb 8oz, i didn't take a picture of Steve because he's so ugly!
10 competitors fished on a river that was still up by about 6" on winter level. All caught either trout or grayling or both, one competitor lost a chub.
Most of the fish were taken on maggot with feeder and float fishing both been successful.
Because the first 3 matches were cancelled Steve is going to run an extra one next Sunday.
Tony Greenwoods 2nd place catch - 7 grayling for 4lb 4oz.
Steve Norths 3rd place catch also showing the quality of the trout although they don't count (they have no fingers, begs the question where do fish fingers come from then?). Jeff (upper Aire angling correspondent).
500 Barbel stocked at Kildwick.
Five hundred barbel were stocked at Kildwick today by the Enviroment Agency. The fish which were all reared at the Agencies Calverton Fish rearing facility arrived at 12.30pm on the 4th December. The barbel were in excellent condition and ranged between 6" and 8".
The barbel carry a distinctive but small green mark on their heads and the EA would love to hear from any angler catching these fish in the future.
