Roberts Pond

Over river bed, access via Royd Lane, Back Roberts Dye Works, Beechcliffe. Off Keighley-Skipton Road, at Foulds Garage, Beechcliffe.

Roach, Bream, Carp, Pike, Chub and Tench, a good course mixed fishery. Members Only.

No closed season. Parking is not allowed on the mill property, park on the left hand side on the footpath after going under the railway bridge.

New Rules:
Due to amphibian and fish spawning times there will be no weed raking at Roberts Pond from 1st March until 31st July, both dates inclusive.
Any Member disregarding this rule risks having his/her membership suspended.

dose any body know if there are any carp left after the fish kill planing to have a go when raking is allowed

true words jeff, i only clear a small area to fish in. its probably why theres so many fish in the place due to the amount of weed.!!!!

Most people may be unaware, but it was actually the presence of the Soldier Weed that saved Roberts Pond from being drained when the new bypass was built. Have you ever wondered why the road bends like it does around the area of the pond?

So don't be too keen to remove it all!

i have been to roberts pond a few times since rakeing was allowed and cleared 4/5 swims so that there is some where to fish. the place is just overgrown, needs another work party. Iv had 17 fish between 1 and 6lb and 66 smaller fish this week roll on next week
